David & Sara | Sheraton Four Points Wedding
From my first phone call with Sara I just knew her and David's wedding was something I wanted to be a part of. As she described everything they had planning for their big day all I could think about was how FUN it sounded! I truly enjoy every wedding that I shoot but it's rare I get to "let go" and have some fun- and thats exactly what this awesome couple had me do!
While their venue offered a perfect spot for their ceremony and reception Sara dreamed of lush, green backdrops for her photos and had complete trust in me when I took her and David along with their entire bridal party and families to a rentention area along the freeway for their portraits! I'm so glad she had faith in me because I am IN LOVE with how their portraits turned out. This perfect overgrown green tree blocked all of the traffic zooming by and gave Sara the "green" she always wanted.
Sara and David are avid ASU football fans (Forks 'Em Devils!) and even met at an ASU game! So natually the day including alot of Sun Devil references. Both of their personal written vows mentioned ASU as well! David wrote that he never thought anything could replace the #1 spot in his heart that belonged to ASU but Sara did it! And the crowd cheered! David also surprised Sara with not one but TWO stunning wedding bands during the ceremony and her reaction was priceless.
The reception was a straight up PART-AY. They had a special surprise guest escort them into their reception and the room exploded as if the biggest celebrity in the world walked in! It was such a fun secret to keep all day as I was the only one to know besides the bride and groom! Make sure the scroll all the way down to see who it was!
David and Sara, you guys are the best and I wish you a lifetime of happiness and ASU wins :)
Seriously might be my favorite reception photo ever!
And because I am an ASU Alumni and Kelsey attended as well, here's an iPhone pic of Kelsey and I with Sparky!
